This post is long overdue, but life has been a little crazy lately.
We moved in June to a 3 bedroom apartment. We are still in orem, not too far from our old ward and friends, but far enough to start over.
Our new ward is good, really small and very different. I am in nursery still (my request) and am loving it! Rickey is still skating under the radar with no calling, hoping for something in scouts.
Being in a new ward was rough, but I quickly made new friends and now have someone I call my "bestie." her name is Katie and she is great! She and I have been inseperable and I am loving having someone to talk to and hang out with on the nights when Rickey is at school.
Along with the move, other changes happened too. The little one (wyatt) that I used to watch is now going to daycare so we decided it was time for me to go back to school and get my degree in Early Childhood Ed., this has been a difficult transition because I am not one that really enjoys school, well at least the homework part. I am actually doing well and have 3 A's! Rickey is going to school too and will hopefully be graduating in April (YAY!).
With school comes new friends, I have made some new friends and am grateful to have them around for the tough times. Also, in June, my brother Jesse got married... Congrats to him and Kirsten, they seem really happy and I am happy to have a new sister in law. Three days later, Daniel's wife had a baby girl (Shayla) and she is the cutest little thing ever!
We have recently gotten involved with DoTerra and are now consultants for them, it's been a rough start, but these oils have helped me so much and I really believe in them and so I am sharing all I can to get others interested too.
We still see the kiddos from time to time and our favorite weekends are when they come to stay!
Anyway, now that it's November, I've decided that maybe it's time to start writing what I am thankful for because there is so much and I think that we all take the little things for granted sometimes.
I am grateful for the chance to expand my knowledge and learn new things as well as make new friends.
I am so grateful for my husband and all that he does to support me, without him I think I would've given up a long time ago.
Grateful for the blessings of the temple. I have spent a lot of my time there lately and am so thankful for the peace, joy and blessings it brings to my life.
Thankful for our Savior who shows me everyday how much he loves me and is mindful of me and all that I am going through, I don't know where I'd be without the knowledge that he lives and loves us!
Here are some recent pics I took of the kiddos right before school started. I'd post some of us, but we don't have anything current yet. Rickey took all the pics for Jesse's wedding, I think they turned out pretty good.
